Recreational, Preschool, Developmental Artistic Team Coach
Mackenzie coaches preschool, level one and two recreational classes, as well as the TAAF program. Mackenzie was in gymnastics for 8 years starting at the age 4, and was actually one of our very first WGC team gymnasts when we opened in 2010! She was a varsity cheerleader 3/4 years of my high school career, and loves teaching children and watching them form the same love she has for the sport. I believe gymnastics is much more than cool skills that look near impossible, but a way to learn discipline, dedication, and responsibility all while giving an escape from everyday life.

Kylah is a recent graduate from Texas State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Health and Wellness Promotion. She also competed as a collegiate track and field athlete all 4 years where I saw success as an individual and team. Before that, she was a competitive gymnast for roughly 8 years. The lessons learned and memories made, ultimately drives her to help today’s gymnasts to reach their full potential and inspire them as those from my past did for me. She is excited to be involved with the gymnastics world again and will always have love and passion for the sport.

Claudia is a student at Texas Tech University, and plans to study nursing. She was a gymnast for over 10 years, finishing as a level 9 with Waxahachie Gymnastics in 2020. Claudia has been instrumental in helping her younger teammates both physically and mentally as team captain. She graduated Waxahachie High School June 2020 in the top 1% of her class! She takes her past experience as a gymnast to be the best coach she can be. Hopefully she will be able to coach while home during breaks from college.
